By using the InsightMind website and accessing therapy services, you confirm that you accept these Terms & Conditions and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using this website or the service. For any queries, please contact contact@insightmind.online.
Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how your personal data is collected and processed.
1. Website Terms of Use
All content on the InsightMind website, including text, images, graphics, and branding, is owned by InsightMind or licensed for our use. You may view, download, or print content for personal use only. You must not copy, distribute, modify, or reproduce any website content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
You must not use this website in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the site, or in any way that is unlawful or harmful. You agree not to introduce viruses, malicious code, or any technologically harmful material.
While we strive to keep the website available and functioning smoothly, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. InsightMind reserves the right to update, suspend, or withdraw the website at any time without notice.
The website may contain links to third-party sites for information purposes. InsightMind has no control over external websites and takes no responsibility for their content or operation.
2. Confidentiality
Confidentiality is a core part of the therapeutic relationship. Information shared during sessions is confidential and will not appear on your medical or employment records. I keep brief clinical notes, stored securely in line with GDPR and ICO requirements.
I will collect information such as your name, date of birth, address, relevant background details and your GP’s contact information. GP details are required for safety purposes; therapy cannot proceed without them. I will not contact your GP without discussing this with you first unless there is an urgent risk of harm to you or another person.
As part of professional requirements, I attend clinical supervision. Any material discussed is anonymised and does not include identifying information.
3. Sessions
Your initial assessment session helps us gain an understanding of your difficulties and agree a focus for therapy. There is no obligation to continue therapy following the assessment.
Therapy sessions last 50 minutes unless otherwise agreed. Sessions typically take place weekly, as consistency helps support progress. If you know you cannot attend weekly, please raise this early so we can discuss suitability.
If you require a report or letter, this will be charged at my standard hourly rate. Please inform me in advance if your therapy relates to a legal claim or is being used for professional or organisational purposes.
4. Fees and Payment
Session fees are reviewed periodically. All sessions must be paid in advance by bank transfer at least 24 hours before your appointment. If payment is not received in time, the session may be cancelled.
If you are using private medical insurance, it is your responsibility to confirm your cover and obtain any necessary authorisation. You will also be responsible for any excess payable on your policy. If an insurer declines or delays payment for any reason, you remain responsible for paying the session fees.
5. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please email contact@insightmind.online as soon as possible. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, or non-attendance, will be charged at the full session fee.
If you arrive late to a session, the appointment will still end at the scheduled time and cannot be extended. You will not be charged for any session that I need to cancel, and the fee will be refunded or applied to your next session.
If you wish to end therapy, please provide at least one week’s notice so we can plan a thoughtful and supportive ending. If you experience frustration or uncertainty during the therapy process, please raise this with me; such conversations can be an important part of the therapeutic work.
6. Online Programmes & Digital Services
InsightMind may offer online programmes, courses, workshops, or other digital services in the future. Any purchase of online content or programmes will be subject to additional specific terms and conditions which will be provided at the point of purchase.
These terms may include information relating to payment, refunds, access rights, intellectual property, usage restrictions, and acceptable behaviour within programme spaces. By purchasing or accessing any online programme, you agree to comply with those additional terms once they are made available.
7. Professional Standards
I am a registered practitioner psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and follow their professional and ethical standards. I also hold appropriate professional indemnity insurance.
Please note that therapy is not a crisis or emergency service. If you require urgent support, please contact your GP, attend A&E, or access emergency services.
8. Contact
If you have any questions about these Terms & Conditions or require clarification, please contact at contact@insightmind.online
